What is this about?

I want to share my favourite recipes, since I enjoy baking for persons I feel comfortable with. You will find here several types of recipes: the ones I know from when I was little, the ones I come across at friends, some straight from the cookbook, some straight from the internet. Each recipe has a link to the original source. Nearly all recipes have been modified from the original, so please have a look at the original ones, too!

Why do you mix imperial and metric measures?

I am in Germany, but many of the recipes I collect are from abroad. I have recipes in three languages and 2 metric systems. In my recipe books at home I keep everything original. For the weblog I translate the recipes to English, but I keep the measuring system as is. Call me lazy.

Where are the photographs from?

I take close-up pictures of the results, so you can imagine what the final product looks like. All natural, no tricks, promised.  Please note all pictures are copyrighted. If you wish to use one of them, simply get in touch with me via hannah[at]minialista.org

The original source of each recipe is given at the end of the recipe, and sometimes already in the description.
